Quick update on Tammy.....
Generally she has been doing well. She continues to receive physical and occupational therapy. She did just have a bout with the flu that put her in the hospital for 4 days but she is home and has recovered well.
She has been able to move into a one level home where she can now access all rooms. She was fitted for her power wheelchair and is just waiting on it to be built.
The outstanding expenses she still has to deal with is paying for her daily home health aide (not covered by insurance), $3000 copay for her wheelchair and a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Thank you again for all you have done!
God Bless!

Update on Tammy--
Tammy is still generally doing well. She is still dealing with extreme weakness in her upper body. She still has decent strength in her legs but because of the weakness in her upper body she uses her wheelchair full time now.
She received her power wheelchair and can now move around her house independently. She has also received a Tobii dynavox computer which she can operate with her eyes - technology is so amazing! The Tobii helps her to communicate and allows her to use her phone, operate her television and surf the Internet - again all with her eyes.
In October Tammy was able to gather with family and friends to participate with Team Webster for the Baltimore ALS Walk in Canton. Team Webster raised over $3500 for the event to help raise awareness and money for ALS.
The main outstanding expense Tammy continues to deal with is paying for her home health aide (not covered by insurance). She is also looking for a wheelchair accessible vehicle so can transported without physical assistance.
Thanks again to everyone for your amazing generosity and outpouring of love! Because of your donations we are able to continue to give Tammy the care that she needs to live a happy and "normal" life.
Thanks so much for all you have done already.
