Team Webster has been established by friends and family of Tammy Webster who is battling ALS.
In 2014, Tammy was diagnosed with ALS. Also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), is a progressive and fatal neurological disease that attacks the nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscles. There are currently no cures for ALS but science keeps advancing and developing new treatments.
Team Webster's mission is to help bring awareness to the fight against ALS and to help raise funds for the Tammy Webster medical fund. Tammy 's medical fund helps to pay for her home health aide (not covered by insurance), any medical equipment and supplies that are not covered by insurance.
